When
searching for titles containing abbreviations or identifying numbers
like "No. 2" or "Op. 46/5"
try searching without any spaces, symbols or
punctuation between the letters and numbers
: "No2" or "Op465". This
also applies to K, BWV, RV, TWV, Hob and volume numbers (Vol).
When searching for large works such as operas or oratorios try adding "complete" to your search. This will exclude excerpts.
When searching for excerpts from operas, ballets or large choral works you can search on the name of the larger work and most excerpts will also be found. On the product page for an excerpt the description will often include the name of the larger work from which it is taken.
After searching, use the pull-downs at the top of the page or the "search within" box to find the item you want. The "Find by Publisher" pull-down is especially useful.
